The Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF) has a strong reputation for delivery of therapeutic services, professional training and secondary consultation built upon up-to-date evidence based theoretical frameworks including the neurobiology of trauma, attachment and relational theories and child development. This theoretical framework provides the foundation upon which all elements of care and intervention are provided by the Foundations Therapeutic Services.

ACF is a dynamic, growing and innovative organisation aiming to make a difference to children and young people who have experience trauma through abuse, neglect or family violence across Australia.

A key objective of our programs is to engage and support professionals to lead their communities in practice that effectively protect children and resource their recovery from trauma.

We are currently looking for an energised and innovative Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our growing creative team. In this role, you will work collaboratively to shape and deliver the Foundation’s social media strategy, email marketing, website UX and conversion, and SEO and SEM strategies. The role will grow and nurture our community of supporters. The role will also work to increase online fundraising income.

The role will innovate with different content and format of posts matching our content pillars and values and provide insights for future planning. The role responds to social media comments and builds capacity to any of the Foundation’s staff in the appropriate and best practice use of social media. It is responsible for designing and implementing the social media calendar and advertising strategy for multiple areas of the organisation, and creating assets for those campaigns.

In this role you will manage website content, improving user experience with a focus on fundraising and sales conversion and search engine optimisation. You will help shape the development and direction of the Foundation’s websites, including the online shop. You will drive customers and donors to those websites through email marketing, paid search, and other digital marketing activities.

About You – Key Selection Criteria:

  • An appropriate qualification or relevant experience
  • Extensive experience in social media community management
  • Extensive experience in social media advertising for sales or donation conversion
  • Strong experience managing paid search and search engine optimisation activities
  • Strong experience with email marketing
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop reports and presentations
  • Knowledge and experience of Salesforce, or similar CRM
  • Experience in web content management systems, preferably WordPress
  • A current Victorian driver’s licence or equivalent.
  • A current Working with Children check or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in the not for profit sector (desirable)

Remuneration & Benefits:

This position attracts a competitive base salary + phone + tablet + superannuation + salary packaging.  The salary is determined on the basis of the employee’s experience and qualifications.  In joining a strong, values based organisation, you will also have access to:
