Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention

As part of this enrolment students will be enrolled into two Units of Competency from the course CHC40313 Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention. The two units that students will complete are:

  • CHCPRT010- Work with children and young people with complex trauma and attachment issues and needs
  • CHCMH007- Work effectively in trauma-informed care
In order to complete these two units of competency, students will be required to attend 5 days of face-to-face training as well as 6 assessment tasks.

Upon completion of these two units of competency, eligible students will be sent a Statement of Attainment. The two units will also be Credit Transferred to the CHC40513 Certificate IV in Youth Justice.

Application and enrolment process:

Step 1
Use the link provided below to commence the application process.  You will be asked a series of information questions about yourself and your role. At this stage, you will also need to complete our language, literacy and numeracy checklist.  Please ensure that you select the Certificate IV LLN Checklist

Once you have completed the application form you will receive an application confirmation email, acknowledging that we have received your application.

Step 2
ACF will review your application, and you will receive an email from us advising your application has been successful, with an enrolment link within the email. Please complete this enrolment form. Please note: that as part of your enrolment you will need to provide, you will need to provide copies of your identity (100 points of ID), your resume and your Unique Student Identifier (USI).

You can now access your learner portal and will receive further information as required about your specific course.  Welcome to the course!
