Welcome to the online training login page for the Safeguarding Children Program. Training is an important step in assisting management, staff and volunteers in organisations to protect children and young people from all forms of abuse and exploitation.
There are three online courses that are available for access. The online training is easy to complete. It is based on a series of integrated training units. You can do it in your own time. It has different questions and exercises for you to try. You can leave it and come back to it.
These courses were originally developed by the Australian Council for Children and Youth Organisations (ACCYO). In 2009, the Australian Childhood Foundation merged with ACCYO and has since taken over the management of the Safeguarding Children Program. The online training is currently being redeveloped. In the meantime, the online training continues to reference ACCYO throughout it. This will be updated in the coming months.
If you have accessed training already, then the login process is the same. It requires you username and password that you have been provided with.
If you are a first time user and part of Uniting Care Burnside or the Australian Defence Force Cadets, click on the specific link below and follow the prompts. If you are required to undertake the general Safeguarding Children Online Training, then click on the General Course and follow the prompts.
